Windsor Armchair c.1860

Lovely mid 19th.c. Windsor armchair c.1860. High sloping backrest with an ash top rail and spindles and elm arms. Over a shaped elm seat (height 18") raised on turned legs in beech, splayed for stability and joined with turned H stretchers. Repair to the right hand arm and the tip of one of the rear legs. Otherwise excellent condition with particularly good patina with traces of the original red paint finish. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
