Pair of French Cherrywood Benches c.1880
Lovely pair of late 19th.c. French provincial benches in cherrywood c.1880. 78½" x 7" seats made from 1½" thick boards with a chamfered to the underside. Raised on attractively shaped ends with sledge feet. Note the wedged mortice and tenon joints through the seat. Very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
