Oak & Mahogany Crossbanded Dresser Base c.1800

George III open dresser base from the Welsh Cheshire border c.1800. Two plank top with a mahogany crossbanded border and ogee edge moulding. Over three good sized drawers. Mahogany crossbanded drawer fronts with period brass handles (quite possibly original, though note the handles on the centre drawer are of slightly different design). Attractive shaped apron below the drawers. Oak panelled sides with an ogee arch shape detail to the bottom edge. Raised on slim square stiles front and rear. Some old marks to the top. otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
