Yew Wood Moorish Style Side Table c.1900

Islamic or Moorish style side table c.1900. A little larger and taller than most of the tables of this style which we come across. Octagonal top veneered in beautifully figured yew wood burr with inlaid geometrical design in boxwood and with an alternating satinwood and yew edge moulding. Solid yew wood sides to the base, also inlaid and with an Islamic arch cutaway to form the feet. Some minor wear and repairs, generally very good colour and condition. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
