Very Small Marble Top Console Table c.1860

Neat little mid 19th.c. marble top console table c.1860. unusual small size, just 21½” wide. Original dark grey marble top flecked with tiny white fossils and with rounded front corners. On a flame mahogany veneered base with a small oak lined drawer in the apron. Raised on curving and tapering front supports with neat little carved paw feet and straight back legs with moulded detail at the base. On a plinth with a concave front edge and low turned bun feet. Some wear to the marble and repairs to the veneers around the base. Generally very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
