Long Regency Mahogany Console Table c.1830

Spectacular English Regency mahogany console table or sideboard c.1830. Solid mahogany top made from a single ¾" thick board with pine used below to create extra thickness to the mahogany crossbanded edge. Over two useful drawers, with matched flame mahogany veneered and moulded fronts with crossbanded edges, continued on the ends of the table. Raised on a splendid pair of carved front legs with Classical Egyptian inspired palmate scrolls at the tops and large claw feet. Crisp turned and tapering rear legs. Some minor old marks and wear to the top, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
