Rosewood Coffee Table c.1860

Mid 19th.c. rosewood centre table c.1860 reduced in height to make a large and handsome coffee table to suit a period interior. 57" x 43" top with highly figured rosewood veneers arranged in a symmetrical pattern on solid mahogany groundwork. Serpentine shaped moulded and crossbanded edge and a slim crossbanded apron below. On a carved column pedestal, raised on four shaped legs with carved detail and scrolling feet all in solid walnut. Some minor surface wear to the top, generally excellent colour and condition. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
