Marquetry Inlaid Jewellery Box Dressing Table c.1890
Shapely little late 19th.c. jewellery box dressing table, c.1890. Lockable lid with storage below (internal height 7cm) and a mirror to the inside with a pretty gilded slip. Symmetrically arranged rosewood veneers to each side with inlaid floral marquetry detail to the lid. Serpentine shaped edges all round and slim curving legs, all with an inlaid brass moulded edge and brass feet. Missing a small portion of the inlay, otherwise very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshop. Key supplied.
