Large Walnut & Marble Top Console Table c.1910

Impressive walnut and marble top console table c.1910. Inch-tick 53" x 26" white marble top. On a walnut base with a shaped apron with acanthus leaf carving at the corners. Raised on large shaped and fluted front legs with scrolling tops and large claw feet. Repeated as straight pilasters at the back flanking a symmetrically arranged walnut panel with inlaid stringing. Cupid's bow shaped plinth veneered and inlaid to match on the top, front and sides. Some chips to the edges of the marble. Otherwise very good condition and excellent colour. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
