Georgian Dresser Base c.1800

George III oak open dresser base from the mid Wales / Shropshire borders c.1800. Two plank top with a thumb moulded edge and an applied moulding to the underside. Over three drawers with mahogany crossbanded drawer fronts with later 19th.c. turned and ebonised wooden knobs. Attractively shaped apron below the drawers and continued on the sides. Raised on turned and tapering front legs with pad feet. Oak panelled sides, straight rear stiles with a chamfered inner edge. Some old marks and wear, otherwise excellent condition and good mellow colour. Restored cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
