Late 19th.c. French open armchair retaining its original upholstery c.1880. Shapely solid walnut frame with good carved detail and an unusual design to the arms. Shaped backrest, arms and sprung seat all retaining their original woolwork tapestry fabric covers and extraordinary long tassel trim to the arms. Carved apron and front legs retaining the original wooden castors. Some old repairs to the frame, otherwise good condition, original through.
