Easy Armchair c.1880

Late 19th.c. easy armchair c.1880. Low sloping backrest and arms with rollover tops over a long sprung seat (seat height 13"). Raised on carved and gilded legs with original white pot castors stamped for Cope & Collinson. Recently upholstered in a printed William Morris style fabric on the backrest and seat with plain linen on the arms and rear. Obvious old wear to the legs, otherwise excellent condition, comfortable and with clean covers.
