Carved Rosewood Centre Table c.1860
Splendid mid 19th.c. rosewood centre table c.1860. Symmetrical rosewood veneered top with a serpentine shaped and deep moulded edge over a carved apron. Big enough to seat four people. Raised on a remarkable elaborate carved pedestal featuring a turned central column with acanthus carving over octagonal base with gadroon edges. The column is surrounded by separate acanthus carved supports over scrolling legs with the original wooden castors below. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
