Welsh Oak Kitchen Cupboard c.1820

Delightful early 19th.c. Welsh oak kitchen cupboard c.1820. In two pieces, a glazed cupboard top fitted with one full depth shelf (15") and a shallower one above (10½" depth). Over a blind door cupboard base with two useful drawers in the waist. Inlaid diamond shaped lozenge above the upper doors and diamond shaped bone escutcheons, both typical of furniture produced on the island of Anglesey in the first half of the 19th.c. Moulded cornice, astragal glazing bars, moulded surround to the blind panels, brass door and drawer knobs and shaped bracket feet at the front edge. Deal side panels and backboards. Old repair to the rear left hand legs. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
