Small Walnut Console Table c.1840

Small mid 19th.c. French console table in walnut c.1840. Useful small size, just 35” wide. Quite unusual solid walnut top (rather than marble) with a simple chamfered moulding below. Over a slim drawer with a solid walnut drawer front with splendid Empire style brass handles and escutcheon plate featuring crossed cornucopia. Curving front supports with neat little carved paw feet over a concave plinth raised on turned pads. Very good colour and condition, restored cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
