Welsh Oak Bread & Cheese Cupboard c.1800

Superb example of a late Georgian Welsh oak kitchen cupboard of a type known as a ‘Cwpwrdd Bara Caws’ or bread and cheese cupboard c.1800. Two door cupboard top with the vented door panels typical of the form. Fitted inside with two shelves (internal depth 15"). Over a two door cupboard base with two drawers at the waist. Moulded cornice above an inlaid detail at the centre above the doors. Good quality brass knobs and original brass escutcheons. Deal panelled sides and rear. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
