Small Bow Front Cabinet with Drawers c.1950

Pretty little mid 20th.c. bow fronted and marble top side cabinet with drawers c.1950. Useful small size, just 34" wide. Well figured red and grey marble top over three oak lined drawers. Attractive marquetry inlaid decoration featuring a frieze of flower heads and swagged garlands over a main panel depicting courting lovers making music in a garden within a circular frame of ribbons and foliage. Against quarter veneered and crossbanded panels with inlaid stringing. Decorative brass handles to the drawer fronts. Raised on short legs with scrolling feet and a carved and pierced apron between. Some scratches to the frieze at the left hand side, otherwise excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
