William IV Ottoman Chaise Longue c.1835

William IV mahogany chaise longue ottoman c.1835. Raised and shaped end, button upholstered with moulded mahogany sides with a carved scroll detail to both sides. Short sprung seat, also button upholstered, with a mahogany moulding. Seat lifts to reveal useful storage inside. Rounded corners to the base and a moulded mahogany trim, raised on the original brass castors recessed below. Presented as found, very good condition, serviceable upholstery in a soft gold chenille with some minor marks and wear.
