Welsh Oak Linen Press c.1800

Charming George III Welsh oak linen press, Carmarthenshire c.1800. Two door cupboard top fitted inside with a single shelf with a raised edge (internal depth 16"). On a separate base with three long and two short drawers. Moulded cornice over an inlaid frieze and particularly attractive ogee arch door panels with cockbeaded edges. Nicely figured oak drawer fronts with later turned knobs. Moulded trim to the waist and base, raised on tall shaped feet. Solid oak boards to the top, floor, sides and backboards at the base. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
