Long Oak Dresser Base c.1800

Superb seven feet long English oak dresser base c.1800. Solid oak top made from two long boards with an applied moulded edge. Over three large drawers and (unusually) two smaller working 'knife drawers' below. All with cockbeaded edges, inlaid mahogany crossbanding and the original brass swan neck handles. With a very attractively shaped apron across the front below the drawers. Raised on straight square stiles front and rear. Oak ends and drawer sides. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
