Welsh Oak Tack Cupboard c.1820

An early 19th Century tack or cloak cupboard c.1820. Two door cupboard top fitted with six original wooden pegs for hanging along the back rail (plus two later triple hooks fitted in the top). On a separate base with two short and one long drawer (the top row being dummy drawer fronts allowing extra hanging length inside the top). Moulded cornice over rather elegant slim panelled doors. Unusual applied half columns flanking the drawers in the base. Original brass knobs and shaped bracket feet to the front. Deal panelled side and rear. Excellent colour and condition. Cleaned and waxed in our workshop. Key supplied. Could be fitted with hanging rail or shelves if preferred.
