Set of 8 Oak Arts & Crafts Dining Chairs c.1910

Set of 8 Arts & Crafts style oak dining chairs c.1910. Tall backrests featuring an arched top over an Art Nouveau inspired carved flower head (or peacock feather?) motif, the stem running the length of the centre spindle and terminating on the shaped stretcher below. Lift out seat pads (14½" x 13½") recently upholstered in a soft brown chenille. Raised on tapering square legs with a flared foot at the front. Joined with stretchers to the front and sides for strength. Good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Clean and serviceable upholstery.
