William IV Rosewood Breakfast Dining Table c.1835

Superb William IV rosewood breakfast dining table c.1835. A comfortable six seater with a 52" diameter top veneered in beautifully figured rosewood laid in a symmetrical pattern on solid mahogany groundwork. Crossbanded edge and a crossbanded apron below with a carved moulding to the bottom edge. On a tapering column with a broad carved collar at the base, over a tricorn plinth veneered to match and with the same carved moulding as the apron. Raised on beautifully carved scrolling feet with the original brass castors below. Top can be tipped to vertical when not in use, locking into place with the original brass catch. Excellent colour and condition, repolished in our workshops. Dismantles for transport.
