Narrow Parquetry Vitrine Display Cabinet c.1920

Good quality narrow French vitrine display cabinet c.1920. Just 27½" wide. Highly figured red marble top over a single door cabinet with glazed sides and fitted inside with three shelves (two in glass), a mirrored back and with useful blind storage below the bottom shelf. Mahogany and kingwood veneers with decorative parquetry work frieze and an inlaid garland to the door. Gilded ormolu mounts to the shoulders and brass mouldings around the glazing and base panels. Shaped apron and legs also with gilded mounts. Wear to the silk lining on the bottom shelf, otherwise excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
