Narrow Biedermeier Mahogany Bookcase c.1830

Mid 19th.c. Biedermeier style mahogany bookcase c.1830. Useful slim dimensions, just 34" wide. Glazed door with a blind panel in the base, fitted inside with four shelves (depth 11") and a single drawer in the base. Highly figured flame mahogany veneers laid in symmetrical pattern across the front and sides. Moulded cornice, door front and plinth. Raised on slim turned feet pads. Quality brass lock, latches and hinges. Original gilded brass drawer handles. Oak shelves and back boards. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
