Side Cabinet with Faux Bookcase Front c.1950

Mid 20th.c. French side cabinet with faux bookcase door fronts c.1950. Walnut veneered cabinet fitted with two adjustable shelves inside (depth 13"). Doors fronts with scores of individual applied leather book spines embossed with the titles of classic literature in French. Moulded surround and moulded trim around the base. Raised on solid walnut cabriole legs with pointed feet. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
