Metamorphic Oak Library Steps & Side Chair c.1890

Ingenious late 19th.c. metamorphic library steps and side chair in oak c.1890. Gothic revival detail with quatrefoil pierced backrest and chamfered edges. Backrest and seat fold over to make a useful set of library steps with the top step at 35″ from the floor. Brass hinges and a locking stay. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
