Canework Daybed c.1950

Unusual colonial style canework daybed c.1950. Gently curved canework seat raised at both ends, measuring seven feet in length. Teak frame with decorative bone inlaid detail on all sides. With a carved an pierced apron below, also continuing all round. Raised on short cabriole legs with carved detail. Two small repairs to the canework, missing a few little pieces of inlay and with minor wear to the finish. Generally very good condition, the canework is taut and the frame is sturdy. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
