Carved Oak Pulpit Bar

Splendid oak bar converted from an early 19th.c. pulpit c.1800. Three sided form, ideal for standing across the corner of a room. Concave shaped rear to the top and a moulded edge with canted corners. Over a flared and curved front and sides with two useful shelves inside (depth 16"). Superb carved panels, each one featuring a different design of scallop and scrolling acanthus detail surrounding a central roundel. Set within moulded surround and with further carved detail to the uprights. Very good colour and condition, presented as found.
