Marble Top Bombe Commode c.1900

Beautiful French Louis XV style marble top bombe commode chest of drawers c.1900. Inch thick marble top with a serpentine shaped and moulded edge with projecting front corners over two drawers. Bombe shaped front and sides with kingwood veneers laid in a particularly attractive symmetrical pattern with contrasting crossbanded tulipwood inlays and surround. Large brass handles and escutcheons, plus large pierced mounts to the shoulders and apron. Some minor wear and repairs to the veneers, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
