Large 18th.c. style woven tapestry panel by Ateliers Robert Four of Aubusson in central France, traditional home of the country's great weaving heritage. 'Gros point' tapestry measuring 67" x 41" and featuring a scene of a large house beside a river, surrounded by trees and flowers, note the exotic looking bird in the tree. Within a floral border. Original maker's label on the rear titled Vieux Manoir (Old Manor). Excellent condition.
