Gothic Revival Carved Walnut Buffet c.1880

Superb quality Gothic revival carved buffet sideboard in walnut c.1880. Solid walnut top with a deep moulded edge over two drawers and two open shelves. Beautifully carved decoration to the drawer fronts featuring a shield cartouche over linenfold and trefoil leaf detail with fabulous original iron handles. Blind Gothic tracery carving flanking the drawers and running down the length of the front stiles. Note also the six linenfold carved back panels. Open sides. Raised on a substantial plinth with deep ogee moulded edge. Oak drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
