Georgian Oak Welsh Dresser Base c.1780
Beautiful late 18th.c. oak Welsh dresser base, mid Wales borders c.1780. Three plank top with a simple moulded edge and an applied moulding below. Over three good sized drawers, the inch thick drawer fronts with cockbeaded edges and original brass swan neck handles. Particularly attractive apron featuring three ogee arches with a shaped point across the front and continued on the sides. Raised on good cabriole front legs with square pad feet and simple square stiles at the rear. Solid oak side panels, drawer linings and backboard. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
