Chinoiserie Dressing Stool c.1910

Beautiful Georgian style chinoiserie dressing stool c.1910. A excellent copy with particularly good cabriole legs featuring a carved scroll detail to the tops and large ball and claw feet. Original oriental style decoration to all four sides and legs, in raised lacquer and gold paint against the ebonised black ground. Loose padded seat freshly upholstered in a well chosen fabric featuring dragons and cherry blossom. Obvious old wear to the decoration, otherwise excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
