Long Cheshire Dresser Base c.1820

Large early 19th.c. oak Cheshire dresser base c.1820. Just over seven feet long with 8 drawers of graduated depth, arranged around a pair of centre cupboards fitted with their own small internal drawers in the base. Typical Welsh/Cheshire borders detail in the reeded quarter columns and mahogany cross banding. Arch top fielded panel doors and ogee bracket feet. Later boards to the top, otherwise original throughout. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Cupboard keys supplied.
