18th.c. Oak Refectory Table c.1740
Fabulous 18th.c. oak refectory dining table c.1740. Simple planked top, big enough to seat three down each side, with slim cleats at the ends. Superb base with a slim drawer at each end. Note the unusual shaped detail to the side rails to accommodate the drawer runners. Raised on turned and tapering column legs with a shaped and chamfered detail at the corners of the blocks top and bottom. The legs are joined with a long centre stretcher making it easier to get chairs in at the sides. Excellent condition and lovely original colour. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
