Small 18th.c. French Oak Dresser Base c.1780

Sturdy little 18th.c. French oak dresser base c.1780. Useful small size, just 55½" wide. Three plank top with a simple moulded edge over two drawers and a two door cupboard base fitted with a single shelf inside (depth 20"). Shaped raised and fielded panel doors with raised mouldings and a simple fluted detail to the centre. Long decorative steel escutcheon plates and hinges. Attractively shaped and moulded apron, also continued on the sides. Front stiles with a moulded detail to the edge and continuing to the floor with shaped feet. Solid oak panelled sides, backboards and floor. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
