Large Terracotta Figure ‘La Chanson’ c.1920

Large French terracotta figure entitled ‘La Chanson’ (The Singer) c.1920. Standing 39″ tall and very well modelled in terracotta with a bronze coloured finish. A young female singer in a belle epoque style shoulderless gown and bare feet performs whilst holding an open folio of sheet music. On a square plinth with title plaque. Missing the tip of a little finger (hidden below the sheet music), otherwise excellent condition.
