Low walnut box seat c.1900. Ideal under a window or at the end of a bed perhaps. Hinged top with a padded seat and moulded edge. Lifts to reveal useful storage inside for bedding or shoes etc. Superb carved panel below the seat with neo-Classical birds heads, cornucopia and scrolling acanthus leaf detail. Panelled sides with raised mouldings. Moulded plinth. Oak back and floor boards. Excellent colour and condition, freshly upholstered, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
