Georgian Spice Cupboard c.1780

Rare little Georgian table top cabinet or spice cupboard in walnut c.1780. Just 22" wide and 28" tall. Single door cabinet opening to reveal a fitted interior with pigeon holes and three small drawers, over a drawer in the base. Bookleaf walnut veneers to the the shaped door panel, with elm crossbanding. Moulded and crossbanded cornice, ogee mouldings to the waist and around the base. Period brass handles. Solid walnut drawer fronts, also elm crossbanded. Solid walnut sides, oak interior and drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied for the door and the drawer.
