14 Large Italian Apothecary Jars c.1910

Unusually large collection of 14 Italian apothecary jars c.1910. Glazed creamware ceramic pedestal jars standing 17½" tall, each with a loose lid with a shaped finial at the top and standing on a 5" diameter foot. Labelled in blue gothic script with the Italian names for various medicinal plants including echinacea, mullein, absinth, tagetes, lovage, malva, boldo and vanilla. Makers mark below the feet with the initials CB. Very good condition.
