Small Oak Open Dresser Base c.1800
Delightful little early 19th.c. oak open dresser base c.1800. Useful small dimensions, just 64½" wide, shorter than many we see. Two plank top with cleated ends and an applied moulding over three good sized drawers with moulded drawer fronts and brass swan neck handles. Unusual and attractively shaped apron and slim cabriole front legs with flared feet. Oak panelled sides and a single piece elm back board. Excellent condition with later drawer linings and repairs to the feet front and rear. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
