Welsh Landscape Oil Painting by Charles Wyatt Warren c.1960

Landscape in oil on board by the celebrated Welsh artist Charles Wyatt Warren (1908-1993) c.1960. Charming village scene with whitewashed houses around a church with a distinctive sloped roof to the tower. Green hills in the background and a blue sky with clouds. Painted in the artist's typical style in thick oil paint on board. The unusual long thin proportions of the piece are also something of a trademark of Wyatt Warren's work. Signed in red paint in the lower left hand corner. Presented in the original frame. Annotated on the rear High Meadows Caernarvon (sic). Good condition though would doubtless benefit from cleaning.
