Georgian Mahogany Chest of Drawers c.1810

Good sized George III mahogany chest of drawers c.1810. Mahogany veneered top with an applied thumb moulded edge. Over two short drawers and four long drawers of graduated height. Matched flame mahogany veneers of particularly good colour and patina to the drawer fronts, laid onto solid mahogany groundwork. With cockbeaded edges and the original brass swan neck handles (a few replacement backplates) and original brass escutcheons. Oak drawer linings. Mahogany veneered sides. Ogee trim around the base, raised on tall bracket feet at the front and sides. Some obvious wear to the finish on the top, otherwise excellent condition with lovely original colour and patina. Cleaned and waxed in out workshops.
