Walnut & Marble Top Commode c.1860

Superb French marble top chest of drawers or commode c.1860. Original and well figured grey marble top with rounded corners and edges. Over a chest of four long drawers plus an extra hidden drawer in the plinth. Particularly well figured burr walnut veneers arranged in a symmetrical pattern across the front. Shallow top drawer with shaped front continued on the sides, three deeper drawers within a moulded surround, raised on a moulded plinth. Solid walnut sides and oak drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
