Walnut Armchair with Tapestry Covers c.1880

Late 19th.c. walnut armchair with original tapestry covers c.1880. Shapely walnut frame with sinuous carved detail. Backrest, arms and sprung seat retaining the original woolwork tapestry covers featuring flower garlands and ribbons and with the initials HLB at the top of the backrest. Slim legs with the original wooden castors. Some old wear, generally very good colour and condition, solid sturdy. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
