Very Large Upholstered Footstool c.1890

Splendid six foot long upholstered footstool or daybed c.1890. Separate 6" deep sprung cushion on a sprung base both with rounded ends. Raised on six turned walnut bun feet with the original metal castors below. Vintage upholstery in a bold Victorian style print in blue and green. Buttoned on both sides of the cushion and with piped edges. Matching fitted valance with pleated skirt all round. Presented as found in good serviceable condition. Some minor wear and marks to the covers and damage to the ticking cloth on the stool base.
