Very Small Marble Top Console Table c.1870

Charming little marble top and mahogany console table c.1870. Just 20½" wide. Original white marble top with a moulded edge. Particularly well figured flame mahogany veneers across the base with extensive inlaid stringing. Shaped front supports with lovely inlaid roundels at the sides (also repeated on the inner face) and carved claw feet. Original mirror back panel between straight pilasters. Raised on a plinth base with an inward curving front edge, also flame mahogany veneered and inlaid to match. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
