Small Pine Hall Bench c.1880

Useful little late 19th.c Welsh pine chapel bench c.1880. Unusual small size, just over three feet long, ideal in a hallway or porch perhaps. In pine throughout with a moulded top rail on lovely turned baluster spindles. Large ball finials at the ends above curving arms on turned supports. Board seat with a shaped apron below at the front and sides. Turned front legs and very sturdy square stiles at the rear. Very good colour an condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
