Georgian Style Serpentine Front Pedestal Desk c.1960

Good looking Georgian style mahogany pedestal desk c.1960. Three drawer top with an unusual and original oval tooled leather work surface within mahogany veneers, a crossbanded and moulded edge and serpentine inverted breakfront. Raised on twin three drawer pedestals with symmetrically arranged flame mahogany drawer fronts with cockbeaded edges and cast brass swan neck handles. Concave curved and moulded front corners and shaped bracket feet. Good quality with oak drawer linings. Veneered and polished on all sides. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
